Conservatory FAQs
Do we need planning permission?
Not in every case. If you own a house in a new development which has restrictions imposed upon it, or your house has already been extended, you might -- but with any planning issues Nuglas will advise you accordingly and submit the planning documents on your behalf if required.
We have an unusual and uneven space on which to extend. Will it still be possible to build a conservatory?
The best option is to arrange for a Nuglas Designer to visit your premises. The photographs and descriptions obtained from the visit will enable our planners and surveyors to give you an accurate (and free) assessment of what is possible.
Will manholes and drain or soil pipes be a problem if situated on the proposed site?
These issues can usually be resolved by re-routing or redirecting the piping or ducts.
Can a conservatory be used all year round?
Nuglas Conservatories are constructed using the highest quality materials, offering excellent insulation and heat retention. Whether its midwinter or high summer, you can be sure you'll be more than comfortable in a Nuglas Conservatory.
